Our client, a leading Independent London agent, with prominant offices all over the Capital seek an experienced lettings adninistrator to join their busy Wembley team.
The role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lettings Administrator to join our dynamic lettings team. As a Lettings Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing the smooth transition of tenancies from offer stage through to move-in, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for both landlords and tenants.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with lettings experience or a background in property administration who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong communication and organisational skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the full tenancy progression process from offer acceptance to move-in
- Liaise with tenants, landlords, referencing agencies, and other third parties
- Coordinate all required documentation, including tenancy agreements, Right to Rent checks, and compliance certificates (e.g., EPC, gas safety)
- Ensure all referencing checks are completed and satisfactory
- Draft and issue tenancy agreements and other required paperwork
- Schedule inventories, check-ins, and property inspections
- Collect initial move-in monies and ensure timely payment
- Maintain accurate records on internal CRM systems
- Keep all parties informed throughout the process, providing exceptional customer service
- Ensure compliance with lettings legislation and company policies
Preferred requirements (not essential):
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously
- Knowledge of lettings legislation, including Right to Rent and deposit regulations
- A customer-focused and solution-driven approach
