We are seeking a skilled and professional Legal Disrepair and Damp and Mould Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialist expertise to address legal disrepair claims and manage damp and mould cases, ensuring compliance with legislation and delivering high-quality housing services. Key Responsibilities: Investigate and assess properties in relation to disrepair claims under relevant housing legislation. Diagnose damp and mould issues, including condensation, penetrative damp, rising damp, and construction-related concerns. Prepare detailed inspection reports, work schedules, and photographic evidence for legal matters. Represent the organization as an expert witness in court or tribunal proceedings. Collaborate with legal teams, contractors, and tenants to resolve issues effectively. Ensure compliance with Awaab''s Law and other housing regulations. Develop and implement preventative strategies to address damp and mould across the housing stock. Provide training and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders on disrepair and damp-related issues.
