Job Title: Lead Clinician at Red Kite School, Buckinghamshire HP27 0JW. Permanent (term time only or flexible around full-time contract can be discussed). 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 4-day Working Week trials may apply. Salary typically £50,000 (DOE) with additional Welcome Bonus opportunities as described in the posting.The role

Manage the in-house Clinical Team at Red Kite School. Work collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Regional Clinical Lead. Split duties between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils who may present with complex profiles of need due to autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, SEMH and related needs. Focus on EHCP plan delivery within OFG’s clinical framework (all, group, and individual approaches). Coordinate line management of onsite clinical staff and contribute to service development of the school-based clinical service in partnership with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.Our clinical teams aim to maintain a person-centred, empowering approach. All settings emphasise safeguarding, pupil voice, and collaborative decision-making. The Lead Clinician will help drive innovative practice to enhance life outcomes for pupils.Location

Red Kite School, Buckinghamshire HP27 0JW – part of the Acorn Education brand, an independent specialist day school for young people aged 11–18.Responsibilities (high level)

Lead and supervise the on-site clinical team; deliver bespoke assessments and interventions.Collaborate with SLT and Regional Clinical Lead on service development and governance.Coordinate line management and ensure high-quality clinical practice across the school.Contribute to MDT working and cross-professional collaboration (e.g., with Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy).Ensure alignment with EHCP targets and OFG clinical methodologies (all, group, and individual).Maintain safeguarding standards and promote pupil-centred practice.Qualifications and experience

Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Psychotherapy, or registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with HCPC (or equivalent).Current registration with HCPC and (where applicable) professional body membership (e.g., BPS).Experience with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs; including supervision of a therapy team and report writing.Ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service; experience in multi-professional settings preferred.Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.Benefits and terms
