Kitchen Assistant - Wingate AreaLocation: Wingate Area Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 2:00pm Duration: Ongoing assignment covering sickness and holiday absence Pay: 12.71 per hour, paid weeklyBerry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to work within a school in the Wingate area. This is an ongoing role providing cover for sickness, annual leave, and other staff absences.This position would suit a reliable and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.Key Duties:Assisting with the preparation of food and drinksServing meals to pupils and staffWashing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipmentCleaning kitchen and dining areasSupporting the catering team with day-to-day kitchen dutiesAdhering to food hygiene, health and safety, and school policies at all timesRequirements:Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essentialMust hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to obtain oneMust be willing to complete all relevant training courses, including food hygiene and safeguarding trainingReliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a teamGood communication skills and a positive attitudeWhat We Offer:Monday to Friday work with no weekendsSchool-friendly hours (10:00am - 2:00pm) 12.71 per hour, paid weeklyOngoing work with the potential for long-term opportunitiesSupport from a dedicated Berry Recruitment consultantIf you ..... full job details .....
