Junior Quantity Surveyor

TLG Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to work for an established contractor in London.

They have projects ranging from -10M to -80M which can involve large RC structures, bulk excavation including basement construction, fa-ade retention and structural alterations.

You will be joining an experienced team supporting on some of their key projects with view to progress into an established Quantity Surveyor.

• Assist with preparing cost estimates and budgets.
• Measure quantities from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare valuations and payment applications.
• Check subcontractor and supplier invoices.
• Obtain and compare quotations.
• Monitor project costs and expenditure.
• Assist with pricing variations and additional works.
• Update monthly cost reports and CVRs.
• Maintain accurate commercial records.
• Assist with subcontractor payments.
• Attend site visits and progress meetings.
• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist with preparing final accounts.
• Identify and report commercial risks.
• Support tender preparation and procurement.
