Junior Management Accountant

Assist with end-to-end accounting process for reporting various elements of the PandLPost monthly accruals as part of the month-end process, collaborating with senior finance colleagues to ensure completeness and accuracyPrepare detailed month-end reports for management review, highlighting key variances and supporting business decision-makingPerform regular balance sheet reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving outstanding itemsAssist with payment run processing, ensuring timely payments in accordance with agreed termsProvide assistance to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions when required, contributing to smooth departmental operationsSupporting the Financial Controller to identify, develop and implement improvementsSkills And Experience

AAT qualified or studying for ACA/ACCA/CIMAPrevious experience with preparation of management accountsStrong Microsoft Excel, enabling efficient data analysis and reportingExperience using Sage accounting software is desirableExcellent organisational skills and attention to detail for ensured accuracyStrong interpersonal abilities to allow you to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels within the organisationEffective communication skills to articulate information clearly when collaborating with team members or presenting findingsProven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being comfortable operating independently under supervisionA commitment to continuous improvement drives you to identify opportunities for process enhancement and seek guidance when necessaryWhat’s in it for you?
