Junior EstimatorAn established and growing construction business is looking to recruit a Junior Estimator to join its team in Kent.The company delivers a range of design and build, refurbishment, fit-out, planned maintenance and reactive maintenance projects across the public, private and commercial sectors.This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Estimator at the early stages of their estimating career who is driven, hardworking and keen to develop within the construction industry.Previous estimating experience would be beneficial but is not essential, making the Junior Estimator position suitable for someone with a good understanding of construction who wants to develop their commercial and estimating experience.The RoleAs Junior Estimator, you will support the estimating team throughout the tendering process, including:Setting up estimating files upon receipt of new enquiries and maintaining relevant documentation.Carrying out take-offs for residential and commercial construction projects.Assisting with the preparation of estimates and tender submissions.Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process.Obtaining and chasing supplier, subcontractor and manufacturer quotations.Maintaining enquiry and quotation registers.Supporting the estimating team with pricing and general tender preparation.Maintaining accurate electronic and paper records.Assisting with internal estimating procedures and training documentation.Providing general ..... full job details .....
