Junior Estimator - Civil Engineering

PW Construction Recruitment is recruiting for a Junior Estimator to join a well-established and successful groundworks and civil engineering contractor based in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within construction estimating. You will join an experienced estimating team and work closely with Senior Estimators and the Chief Estimator, receiving training and hands-on exposure to the complete tender process. The role would suit a Junior Estimator looking to develop their experience, or someone at an earlier stage of their career with strong numerical skills and an interest in groundworks, civil engineering, estimating or commercial construction. The Role As Junior Estimator, you will assist with the preparation of accurate and competitive tender submissions across a variety of groundworks and civil engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include downloading and reviewing tender documentation, drawings, specifications and bills of quantities, setting up and maintaining tender files and ensuring all tender information is accurately recorded and controlled. You will assist with measurement and quantity take-offs for packages including earthworks, drainage, roads, external works, foundations, slabs and services.
