Interim Credit Controller

The BusinessWe''re working with a forward-thinking business based in South Manchester that is looking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.The RoleYou will take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, managing the collection of outstanding debt in line with agreed payment terms. You''ll also monitor credit limits and mitigate risk, while maintaining strong and professional customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesManage your own ledger, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balancesWork in a target-driven environment focused on cash collection and aged debt reductionIdentify and escalate high-risk or problematic accounts where necessaryMaintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all timesAccurately allocate incoming cash to customer accountsCollaborate with internal teams to resolve queries and reduce aged debtSupport the maintenance of clean and accurate ledgersPersonProven experience in Credit Control or Accounts ReceivableStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environmentProactive, organised, and solutions-focusedGood working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelConfident in presenting information and contributing in meetingsExperience with process improvement initiatives would be advantageousBenefitsSalary equivalent of £30,000 - £35,000Hybrid working model (3 days in the office)25 days holiday + bank holidaysOngoing ..... full job details .....
