Credit Controller - 12 month FTC

Your new company An established and reputable business based in Chadderton is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. With a strong presence within their sector, the business prides itself on its collaborative culture and supportive team environment.Your new role As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the company''s cash flow and maintaining strong customer relationships. Working as part of a close-knit finance team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring overdue payments are collected in a timely manner whilst providing excellent customer service.Key responsibilities include:Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and emailBuilding and maintaining positive relationships with customersResolving account queries and investigating payment issuesAllocating incoming payments accuratelyProducing aged debt reports and monitoring debtor balancesWorking closely with colleagues across finance and other departments to achieve team objectivesSupporting the wider finance function as requiredWhat you''ll need to succeed Previous experience working in a Credit Controller positionProven ability to manage and reduce aged debtStrong communication and negotiation skillsA proactive and organised approach to workExcellent attention to detail and accuracyThe ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative working environmentGood IT skills, including ..... full job details .....
