HRIS Implementation Manager

Overview
This HRIS Implementation Manager fixed-term contract oversees the RFP, selection, and full implementation of a new HR system, managing all phases from planning through to post-launch support. The role involves coordinating technical migration, stakeholder engagement, testing, training, and process optimisation. Lead the full rollout of a new HR platform, ensuring delivery meets agreed timelines, budgets, and specificationsDevelop and maintain structured project documentation, including timelines, risk logs, and issue trackersCoordinate activities across multiple streams such as data migration, system setup, testing, training, and change enablementLiaise with external vendors and implementation partners to ensure milestones are achievedManage governance processes and provide regular updates to stakeholdersOversee the technical transition from existing platforms to the new HR systemManage complex data migration tasks, ensuring accuracy and continuity of employee records and historical dataLead data cleansing and validation efforts to improve data qualityEnsure smooth transfer of employment data, including contracts, personal details, and historical changesMaintain data connections between integrated systems and ensure reporting continuityEstablish updated data governance protocols and preserve key reporting structuresCoordinate migration of absence records, training logs, payroll data, and compliance-related informationCollaborate with internal teams to resolve legacy system issues and improve day-to-day system usageSupport leadership in delivering strategic people initiatives through system transformationDesign and execute testing plans, including integration and user acceptance testingCreate test cases covering core HR processes such as recruitment, absence tracking, and payrollValidate system performance and reporting capabilities for compliance and operational needsManage issue tracking and resolution in collaboration with vendors and internal teamsProvide post-launch support and troubleshoot issues during the initial rollout phasePromote effective use of the new system and identify opportunities for process improvementProven track record of leading full-cycle HR system implementationsStrong project management experience with successful delivery of tech projectsFamiliarity with regulatory compliance, data protection, and employment data standardsExperience managing complex data sets and system integrationsUnderstanding of payroll structures and annual review processesRole details
