The Role
Reporting directly to the HR Business Partner, you''ll provide a broad range of HR generalist support across the employee lifecycle, acting as a trusted first point of contact for managers and employees while ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently and professionally.
This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You''ll be involved in everything from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, HR administration and supporting wider HR projects, making a real contribution to the success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the full recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, coordinating interviews and onboarding new employees.
- Providing HR advice and guidance to managers in line with company policies and current employment legislation.
- Supporting employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance meetings, taking accurate notes and preparing documentation.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and employee files.
- Assisting managers with absence management and performance management processes.
- Producing HR reports and maintaining HR data.
- Supporting payroll administration and HR documentation.
- Assisting with employee engagement initiatives and wider HR projects.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
About You
You''ll be an organised and proactive HR professional who enjoys working with people and delivering an exceptional internal customer experience.
You''ll ideally have:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or be working towards it).
- Previous experience in a HR Advisor or HR Generalist role.
- Good understanding of UK employment legislation.
- Excellent organisational and administration skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A professional, approachable and solutions-focused mindset.
