Housing Officer

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded housing organisation for an Intensive Housing Officer to join its Adult Supported Housing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in supported housing, intensive housing management, housing-related support or community-based support, who is passionate about helping adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and other complex needs maintain their independence, wellbeing and tenancy. You will provide structured, person-centred and outcome-focused support to residents, ensuring that support is delivered safely, consistently and in line with agreed support plans and organisational procedures. The role As an Intensive Housing Officer, you will: Deliver planned Intensive Housing Management (IHM) and housing-related support to residents. Support adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and other complex needs. Contribute to assessments, support plans, reviews and resident outcome monitoring. Maintain accurate and timely case notes, contact records and support evidence. Promote independence, tenancy sustainment, engagement and positive resident outcomes. Identify and appropriately escalate safeguarding concerns, changes in risk, incidents and welfare concerns. Work closely with residents, families, colleagues, care providers and external partner agencies.
