Barking and Dagenham College . This is a full-time, permanent position, 36 hours per week. The salary is £31,337 - £33,035 as stated.Responsibilities
Assist with health and safety management systems in accordance with organisational plans and compliance with legislation and regulatory bodies’ processes and procedures.Assist in developing the health and safety needs and goals of the college.Maintain clean working areas.Work closely with managers across the college to ensure health and safety procedures and processes are adhered to across all college sites.Work with ILCT, Estates and curriculum teams to embed health and safety practices and procedures across the college.Qualifications and skills
Educated up to GCSE Grade C/5 or equivalent.Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.NEBOSH qualified or working towards - National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.Ability to maintain a safe working environment suitable for students.Ability to influence, persuade and direct health and safety activities and promote best practice.Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex issues.Able to communicate effectively with staff and students, contractors and visitors.Ability to evaluate information and data, prioritise.Additional information
