Health and Safety Manager Water / Civil Engineering Location: Hertfordshire and Project Sites Salary: £58,000 £68,000 + Package Sector: Water / Utilities / Civil Engineering Position: Permanent We are recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering a portfolio of projects across major UK water infrastructure frameworks. Based on Hertfordshire, this is a site-focused role covering multiple live projects across the region. The successful candidate will need a strong understanding of the UK water sector, ideally gained from working directly for a major water utility or for a contractor delivering projects across water frameworks. Projects will typically be delivered under long-term water infrastructure frameworks, with individual scheme values generally around £1 million. The Role As Health and Safety Manager, you will take responsibility for supporting and maintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance across a portfolio of live water and civil engineering projects. You will also be responsible for managing and leading the safety team, working closely with operational and project teams to ensure consistent standards across all sites.
