Our client is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support the delivery of a safe, compliant and positive environment for staff, students, visitors and contractors across multiple college campuses.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, implementation and continuous improvement of health and safety policies, procedures and management systems.Conduct audits, inspections and compliance reviews, reporting findings and recommending improvements.Undertake and review risk assessments, ensuring appropriate control measures are implemented.Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.Assist with contractor management, permit-to-work systems and safe systems of work.Support environmental and sustainability initiatives, including environmental management activities.Contribute to fire safety arrangements, internal audits and compliance monitoring programmes.About YouWe are looking for an organised and resilient professional with a passion for promoting safe working environments.Essential RequirementsNEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Level 4 Health and Safety qualification.Previous experience working in a Health and Safety role.Strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and best practice.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Competent user of Microsoft Office ..... full job details .....
