About the Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established operator within the industrial processing and energy sector for a-Health & Safety Advisor-to join their team at their site in South Lanarkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Health & Safety professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams, engineering and contractors to drive a positive safety culture within a busy industrial environment.

This is a-fully site-based, Monday to Friday position, where you''ll play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of the facility.

The Role

Reporting into the Site Leadership Team, with support from the wider Group Health & Safety function, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing day-to-day Health & Safety support across the site.
• Promoting a positive Health & Safety culture through visible leadership.
• Conducting workplace inspections, audits and compliance monitoring.
• Leading and supporting accident, incident and near miss investigations.
• Reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Supporting contractor management and permit-to-work activities.
• Delivering toolbox talks and Health & Safety communications.
• Monitoring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Working closely with operations, engineering and maintenance teams to improve safety performance.

About You

We''re keen to hear from candidates who have:

• CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 (or working towards it) would be advantageous.
• Experience within heavy industrial, manufacturing or operational environments
• Experience carrying out incident investigations.
• Experience with contractor management.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Exposure to ISO 45001 and internal auditing.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence operational teams.
• A hands-on approach and a genuine passion for improving workplace safety.
