Health and Safety Advisor Location: South Lanarkshire Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Excellent Benefits About the Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established operator within the industrial processing and energy sector for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team at their site in South Lanarkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Health and Safety professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams, engineering and contractors to drive a positive safety culture within a busy industrial environment. This is a fully site-based, Monday to Friday position, where you''ll play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of the facility. The Role Reporting into the Site Leadership Team, with support from the wider Group Health and Safety function, your responsibilities will include: Providing day-to-day Health and Safety support across the site. Promoting a positive Health and Safety culture through visible leadership. Conducting workplace inspections, audits and compliance monitoring. Leading and supporting accident, incident and near miss investigations. Reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work. Supporting contractor management and permit-to-work activities. Delivering toolbox talks and Health and Safety communications. Monitoring compliance with Health and Safety legislation and company procedures. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
