Head of Security

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced security professional to lead and develop a protective security function within a highly regulated organisation as their new-Head of Protective Security.

You''ll be responsible for leading security operations, ensuring compliance with UK Government and defence security requirements, managing security risk, overseeing personnel and physical security, leading incident investigations, and driving a strong security culture across multiple sites.

We''re looking for someone with:

• Significant experience in protective security within the UK defence or government sector.

• Strong knowledge of security governance, personnel vetting, physical security, and risk management.

• Experience leading security teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain UK DV security clearance.
