Head of Finance (Hertfordshire) Specialist law firm renowned for its professional service across a wide range of commercial, private and public sector clients is recruiting for a new Head of Finance. What''s On Offer: Competitive salary Hertfordshire location Excellent benefits Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote) The role requires a qualified accountant with significant leadership experience within a law firm, together with a strong understanding of legal finance, partnership accounting and the Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR). Reporting into the Managing Partner, the Head of Finance will oversee an Accounts team of 3 whilst working with the firm''s outsourced accountants. There will be a strong focus on revamping the finance structure, improving processes, and project management. Head of Finance - What You''ll Be Doing: Oversee transactional and financial accounting, ensuring robust controls are in place Manage all banking functions, including cash reporting, forecasting and reconciliations Lead the year-end accounting, audit and statutory reporting processes Oversee all tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax and Partners'' Tax Prepare clear financial reports and recommendations for Partners'' meetings Attend monthly management accounts meetings, working with the Managing Partner to ensure key financial information is shared with Equity Partners Head of Finance - What We''re Looking For: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) A key ..... full job details .....
