One of my top law firm clients are looking for a qualified Group Accountant to join their collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a global environment, supporting strategic decision-making through accurate and insightful financial reporting.Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts and adjustments (e.g. bad debts, rebates, disbursements).Manage intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.Liaise with local finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.Review and analyse local office accounts and balance sheet items.Support quarterly group management accounts preparation and provide commentary.Contribute to statutory accounts preparation under IFRS for LLP and subsidiaries.Assist with the consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Collaborate with audit teams and international tax teams, including support for Pillar Two reporting.Monitor and improve group reporting processes and systems.Drive consistency and efficiency across global finance teams.Person Specification
Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.Experience in analytical review and working to tight deadlines.Experience in a law firm or professional services environment.Experience in preparing statutory financial statements.The Ideal Candidate
