As Group Accountant your focus will be:Timely communication of key issues and decisions with Group Technical Reporting Manager and Senior Group Technical AnalystPoint of contact to Regional and School finance managersCollaboration with external auditors, and external consulting teamsWorking with Legal, Tax, and FPandA teams on accounting and reporting mattersEnsure complete and accurate financial reportingAnalyse financial performance against budget and forecastAssist in preparation of technical disclosure notes for auditsSupport quarter-end reporting requirementsPrepare audit deliverables and respond to auditor queriesSupport finance system upgrades or process automation initiativesThe Successful Candidate will possess
ACA/ACCA qualified with some PQEStrong working knowledge of IFRS requirementsStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis)Experience preparing reconciliations and external reportsPractical approach to problem-solvingExperience with group consolidations and reporting processesExperience preparing statutory accounts and supporting auditsUnderstanding of the education sectorExposure to international markets and working with multiple currenciesFamiliarity with accounting systems (Nav BC; OneStream)About Us
