Senior Group Accountant - 15 months contract

Overview
This role sits within the Group Finance function of Paysafe Group Limited, a dynamic global fintech business listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Management Reporting, the position requires a candidate with a strong background in financial accounting and external reporting. The role focuses on period-end reporting, SOX compliance, and process improvements aligned with a broader Group transformation initiative. The successful candidate will gain exposure to various functions across Group Finance, engaging deeply in the Group close process and assisting in the review and analysis of financial information to draw sound and concise conclusions. As a key member of the Group Financial Reporting team, the London-based Senior Group Accountant will collaborate closely with multiple functions across the Group and global finance teams, including Corporate Finance, FPandA, Tax, Treasury, and senior management. The Group Financial Reporting team comprises individuals with diverse experience and expertise. Responsibilities
Perform monthly reconciliations and analytical reviews of balance sheet and income statement line items, presenting findings to senior management on a quarterly basis.
Assist in the preparation of the Group financial reporting package for monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
Support the preparation of disclosure documentation for quarterly and annual financial statements.
Liaise with divisional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate close processes and provide analysis of reporting entity submissions.
Provide guidance to divisional teams on accounting for unusual transactions.
Support the delivery of materials to external auditors.
Contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives as required by the wider team.
Support EPM transformation projects.
Qualifications
Fully qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years PQE.
Experience in multi-currency group consolidation with a strong understanding of foreign currency accounting principles.
Proven ability to analyse financial data, draw sound conclusions, and identify potential issues.
Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and practical application.
Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control requirements.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with OneStream or system implementation is a bonus.
Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
