General Foreman (Water Treatment Infrastructure)Location: Eastleigh, HampshireContract Rate: 400 - 450 per day (PAYE)Engagement Type: Long-Term Contract (AMP8 Framework)Start Date: Immediate / ASAPProject OverviewWe are seeking an experienced General Foreman to join a civil engineering contractor delivering water treatment infrastructure upgrades in Eastleigh. This long-term contract supports capital projects across clean and wastewater processing facilities.As lead operational supervisor, you will take direct ownership of daily site execution, managing direct labor gangs, sub-contractors, plant, and material resources across civil engineering, groundworks, and MandE integration packages.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Delivery: Drive daily production across civil works, deep drainage, reinforced concrete (RC) structures, pipework, and earthworks.Workforce Supervision: Direct sub-contractors and site labor, ensuring high productivity, quality workmanship, and strict adherence to specifications.Health and Safety: Enforce site safety policies, execute RAMS, deliver daily inductions/toolbox talks, and maintain a zero-harm environment.Planning and Progress: Partner with Site Managers to manage 1-3 week lookaheads, track outputs, and resolve logistical issues.Quality and Reporting: Conduct pre- and post-work quality checks, log daily site diaries, and manage material deliveries.Requirements and QualificationsExperience: Proven track record as a General Foreman in the UK water ..... full job details .....
