GCSE tutor with SEN experience

The Role:

• Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition in GCSE subjects (e.g. Maths, English, Science)
• Plan and adapt engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs and abilities
• Support students in building confidence, resilience, and academic progress
• Work flexibly in community settings, schools, or students'' homes (where appropriate)

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Proven experience working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) students
• Experience supporting vulnerable children or young people (e.g. SEMH needs, those outside mainstream education)
• Strong subject knowledge at GCSE level
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

Pay:
-2530 per hour (depending on experience)
