GCSE tutor

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalised, one-to-one GCSE tuition
• Support students in English, Maths, and/or Science
• Plan and adapt sessions to meet individual learning needs
• Build positive, supportive relationships with students
• Encourage confidence, engagement, and academic progress

Requirements:

• Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE-level students
• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
• Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse needs
• Relevant qualifications (QTS desirable but not essential)

Experience working with students with additional needs (e.g. SEMH, SEND, or those out of education) is highly desirable.
