Fire Alarm Engineer, Leeds

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer, with a minimum of 10 years’ + experience, to join our team in a customer-facing role.This vacancy is a full-time, permanent position which consists of 40 hours per week plus overtime, and offers the following company benefits:Excellent rate of pay – up to 35k per annum, depending on experienceOvertime and travel time availableHoliday entitlement – increasing to 24 days, with length of service, plus 8 bank holidaysEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Private healthcare scheme (with length of service)Employee perks and discounts (with length of service)Company vehicle (with private usage) and fuel cardOngoing product trainingCycle to work schemeCompany social eventsResponsibilities:To install systems at various sites, predominantly commercial with some domesticTo ensure repairs and installations of systems are to a high standard and completed in a timely mannerTo meet with clients and ensure a first-class service delivery when on-siteTo work to company/client deadlines on installationsTo ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsRequired skills and attributes:Experience of installations, commissioning, servicing, fault finding and reactive callsA wide knowledge in different fire alarm systems and protocolsFIA course qualified or equivalentExperience of front-line customer contactSelf-motivation to work alone with a willingness to show initiativeExcellent problem-solving abilityMust be computer literate as you will be working with IP equipmentUK driving licenceRequired experience:Engineering experience of 10 years +A proven track record in the security sectorGough and Kelly are an equal opportunities employer.
