As a Financial Controller in Hertfordshire, you''ll oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and aligns with organisational goals. Client Details This role is within the not-for-profit sector and is based in Hertfordshire. Description Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders. Manage compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Supervise and support the finance team in daily operations. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures. Monitor cash flow and ensure effective financial risk management. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance. Lead on audits and liaise with external auditors as needed. Profile A successful Financial Controller should have: A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Experience in financial management and reporting. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance. Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
