The CompanyOur client is a privately owned group with a diverse portfolio of businesses operating across multiple sectors, including financial services, technology, real estate, energy, healthcare, media and other commercial industries.The PositionReports to: Chief AccountantPrimary Focus: Cash book management, maintenance of accounting records and support with year-end accounts.Role PurposeTo maintain complete, accurate and timely accounting records across several UK and international entities. The role will have particular responsibility for cash book management, day-to-day treasury activities and maintaining financial records. The successful candidate will support cash management, banking controls, reporting requirements, statutory compliance and the year-end audit process.Key ResponsibilitiesCash Book and Accounting RecordsMaintain cash book records, ensuring receipts, payments, transfers, bank charges, interest and other transactions are accurately recorded.Post cash book transactions to the relevant nominal ledger accounts, cost centres and intercompany accounts with supporting documentation.Prepare and process payments through online banking platforms in line with company procedures and ..... full job details .....
