Finance Manager

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a highly successful business as they look to appoint a Finance Manager to join their established finance function. This is a broad and varied opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career, offering exposure across financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, audit, controls and business partnering. Working closely with the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the wider business, developing the finance team and identifying opportunities to improve processes and financial performance. The Role As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of a broad finance remit, combining hands-on financial reporting with commercial analysis, team development, compliance and business partnering. Key responsibilities will include: Leading the month-end process, including accruals, reconciliations, and provisions. Lead the month-end process, including accruals, reconciliations and accounting adjustments. Own the balance sheet and ensure financial information is accurate and complete. Analyse monthly performance against budget, forecast and prior year, providing clear commentary. Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate reforecasts. Prepare statutory accounts and lead the external audit process. Business partner with departmental managers, providing financial insight and challenge. Support and develop two members of staff.
