Finance Manager

A growing and well-established manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance function for a key business unit.This is a high-visibility role, working closely with senior leadership (including MD and CFO level), offering influence and the opportunity to drive financial performance and improve processes.The RoleThis is a hands-on Finance Manager role where you''ll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting operational decision-making, and ensuring strong financial control.You''ll act as a key link between finance and operations, providing insight and challenge to support business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the month-end close process and produce monthly management accountsPrepare and post journals, including accruals and prepaymentsComplete monthly balance sheet reconciliationsDeliver monthly flash reports and weekly KPI reportingOversee accounts payable, including payment run approvalsMonitor accounts receivable, identifying and escalating riskPrepare quarterly VAT returns and support audit requirementsAssist with payroll processes where requiredPartner with operational teams to provide financial insight and support decision-makingAbout YouQualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Experience in a similar Finance Manager roleBackground in manufacturing, engineering, or a fast-paced environment preferredStrong Excel skills and high attention to detailAble to work to tight deadlines and ..... full job details .....
