Interim Finance Manager

Group Financial Accounting Manager

You will oversee financial accounting, compliance, and reporting across multiple European entities. Leading a small accounting team, you''ll ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls, statutory compliance, and successful audit delivery while driving process improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal reviews.
• Manage statutory compliance, including VAT, tax filings, and statutory accounts.
• Coordinate and lead external audits across multiple European entities.
• Oversee cash flow and treasury activities.
• Develop and support a small finance team.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and control enhancements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors across Europe.

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong background in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.
• Experience managing audits and statutory reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of VAT, corporate tax, and regulatory compliance.
• Previous people management or team leadership experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (SAP desirable).
