Interim Finance Manager

Group Financial Accounting Manager You will oversee financial accounting, compliance, and reporting across multiple European entities. Leading a small accounting team, you''ll ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls, statutory compliance, and successful audit delivery while driving process improvements across the finance function. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Ensure accurate financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal reviews. Manage statutory compliance, including VAT, tax filings, and statutory accounts. Coordinate and lead external audits across multiple European entities. Oversee cash flow and treasury activities. Develop and support a small finance team. Drive process improvements, automation, and control enhancements. Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors across Europe. About You Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Strong background in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance. Experience managing audits and statutory reporting requirements. Knowledge of VAT, corporate tax, and regulatory compliance. Previous people management or team leadership experience. Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (SAP desirable). ..... full job details .....
