Finance Director (12-Month FTC)

Are you an Interim Finance Director ready to lead during a pivotal period of change? Our client, an ambitious and evolving organisation, is seeking an Interim Finance Director to provide strategic oversight and hands-on leadership during a time of transformation. This role is perfect for a commercially focused finance leader who can quickly embed themselves at board level, guide the finance function, and deliver immediate value.Responsibilities

Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and commercial insightDrive financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planningAct as a key advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on all financial mattersManage relationships with external stakeholders including banks, auditors, and investorsSupport the board with scenario planning, performance analysis, and strategic investment decisionsOversee cash flow, working capital, and risk management activitiesProvide leadership to the finance team, embedding best practices and developing capabilityRequirements

A full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualified experienceA track record of success in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within complex or transitioning businessesStrong commercial acumen, with experience advising board-level stakeholdersExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsExperience with financial modelling, strategic planning, and change managementProficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)Benefits
