Finance Director

We have an opportunity for a commercial and strategic Finance Director who will support the Board of Directors with decision making. This business has doubled in turnover through acquisition and now needs a higher level of financial insight and planning.As the Finance Director you will gain an understanding of key business drivers to provide added-value analysis to the business across commercial, finance and compliance, together with development, monitoring and reporting of relevant business KPIs.Key responsibilities;Work closely with the Board contributing to building growth strategy and work closely with management and budget holders across the businessPresent information to financial institutions in any future growth plansManage banking relationships and oversee insurance, legal matters and commercial contractsContribute to and sign-off pricing decisions across different product offerings, understanding how pricing and formation of products impacts margins across the businessLead the preparation of project budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial projections. Monitor financial performance against budgets to ensure adherence to financial goals.Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects, providing strategic insights to project teams.Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements, to support informed decision-making at both project and executive levelsWhat you will bring5 years’ experience in a senior financial management positionManagement cash flowsPrevious team management experienceProven ability to simplify and present complex financial information to aid decision-making across a group of companiesRutherford Briant is passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion.
