Finance Business Partner Location: Sittingbourne Contract: Full time, permanent Salary: Circa £75k, plus benefits Reporting to: Head of Finance The opportunity An established, operationally focused business is looking for a Finance Business Partner to work alongside the teams running it''s operational functions and facilities. The priority for this role is simple: helping operational leaders make better financial decisions and driving the commercials with them. You will own the PandLs for both areas, get close to what really drives cost and profit, and be the person operational teams turn to when deciding on capital spend, pricing, tenders and new business opportunities. It will suit a self-starter who takes the initiative rather than waiting for direction, enjoys working hands-on with the operation, and has the confidence to challenge non-finance teams and shape the decisions they make. What you''ll be doing Partner with operational leaders and their teams to support and influence day-to-day and strategic financial decisions Drive commercial performance with the operational teams, identifying and leading initiatives to improve profitability Provide commercially sound analysis on cost effectiveness, commercial viability and operational capability, for both ongoing operations and ad hoc projects including capital spend Work with the commercial team on deal structures to meet customer requirements, and help develop new business models to capture new opportunities Support ..... full job details .....
