Finance Assistant

Job Description:

Location:-Bewdley
Salary:28,000 - -35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our well-established client based in Bewdley is looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented-Finance Assistant-to join their friendly finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accounts experience who is looking to develop their career within a successful and growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Raising and processing customer invoices accurately and efficiently
• Managing the accounts receivable ledger and chasing outstanding payments where required
• Producing and issuing monthly customer statements
• Carrying out daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
• Assisting with cash allocation and resolving account queries
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity
• Supporting the wider finance team with month-end processes and other ad hoc finance duties

About You

• Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
• Experience of accounts receivable and sales ledger processes
• Sage experience is preferred, although training can be provided for the right candidate
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• A positive, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a busy environment
