Façade DesignerLocation: North LondonSalary: £40,000 - £60,000 DOE + BenefitsThe OpportunityAre you an experienced Façade Designer looking to work on landmark projects with a forward-thinking specialist contractor?We''re working with a well-established façade business that delivers high-quality building envelope solutions across commercial, residential, mixed-use and high-rise developments throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they''re looking to add a talented Façade Designer to their design team.This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging projects from concept through to installation, collaborating with architects, consultants, contractors and in-house project teams.The RoleAs a Façade Designer, you will be responsible for producing detailed façade designs and technical drawings while ensuring projects are delivered in line with programme, specification and industry standards.ResponsibilitiesProduce detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.Develop curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing and building envelope solutions.Prepare fabrication and construction drawings.Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and project teams.Attend design and coordination meetings.Ensure designs comply with current Building Regulations and relevant industry standards.Resolve technical design issues throughout the project lifecycle.Support manufacturing and installation teams with technical queries.RequirementsPrevious experience as a ..... full job details .....
