Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00
 

We’re looking for a reliable Fabric Engineer to join a Facilities Management team based in East London, carrying out general building fabric maintenance across a commercial site. This Fabric Engineer position offers steady weekday hours and ongoing work.

Fabric Engineer — what you’ll be doing:

• General fabric repairs — carpentry, painting/decorating, plastering, minor building repairs
• Door, lock, and furniture repairs
• Basic plumbing and drainage tasks
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests and completing PPM fabric tasks
• Reporting completed works accurately via the site system

As Fabric Engineer, you’ll need:

• Multi-skilled trade background (carpentry, painting, general building maintenance)
• Previous experience in a facilities management or maintenance environment
• Good attention to detail and a can-do attitude
• Full UK driving licence desirable
