OverviewPaediatric services is growing rapidly. Do you have experience working in an acute medical or paediatric high dependency unit? Do you have experience caring for patients with tracheostomies, BiPAP, LTV or other complex medical conditions? If so, this job is for you.

With commitment from the regional network we are working to enhance our dynamic, forward thinking and established nursing team. Our Level 2 HDU is now up and running, providing learning opportunities for the successful candidate. We offer a robust induction program to ease the transition into a new working environment, tailored to meet the needs of each candidate. We are a very supportive and welcoming team and will ensure you receive all the training on induction to enable you to carry out the role safely, delivering excellent standards of care. We provide a holistic suite of services for babies, children and young people to enable them to receive the highest quality of care at the right time, delivered by the right staff and in the location that best suits their needs, in partnership with parents, carers and other multidisciplinary team members.

Responsibilities

Join our dedicated multidisciplinary team as a Staff Nurse with post-registration experience.

Work within our paediatric services and Level 2 HDU, delivering high-quality care to babies, children and young people with varying acuity.

Care for patients with complex medical needs, including those with tracheostomies, BiPAP, LTV or other complex conditions, in line with professional guidelines and local policies.

Collaborate with Supervisory Senior Sisters, Service Managers and Team Leaders as part of a supportive nursing skill mix.

Engage in the induction program and ongoing training to ensure safe practice and excellent standards of care.

Qualifications

Post-registration nursing experience.

Commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care in a paediatric setting.
