Environmental Health Officer / Enforcement OfficerWe are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer / Enforcement Officer to join our Health and Safety Enforcement Team This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with current health and safety enforcement experience to manage a varied caseload of proactive and reactive enforcement work.Location: Wembley, LondonHours: 36 hours per weekWorking Pattern: Hybrid with flexible and remote working availableRate: NegotiableKey Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload of health and safety enforcement work.Undertake proactive inspections and reactive investigations.Investigate health and safety complaints and RIDDOR notifications.Take appropriate enforcement action in line with current legislation.Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety laws and guidance. Essential Requirements Current experience in health and safety enforcement. A recognised professional qualification to undertake health and safety interventions, such as: Diploma, BSc or MSc in Environmental HealthNEBOSH qualificationRegistration with the CIEH.Strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation.Experience investigating health and safety complaints, RIDDOR notifications and enforcement action.Excellent communication, organisational and case management skills.
