Engineering Design Manager Doncaster up to 65k. Overview: We are inviting applications for this critical appointment from experienced engineering designers with management capabilities who will interpret and challenge our client s engineering design function, advise on best practice, most appropriate design suites, recognise issues and drive improvements. This business design and install material handling machinery and equipment and the design function needs a capable, professional and motivational leader to ensure continued growth and development and to represent the business at senior management level. The role: Managing a team of engineering cad technicians, ensuring designs are robust, compliant and delivered on time, you will use your excellent knowledge of heavy engineering design and experience of 2D and 3D software and packages, to take ownership, ensuring high-quality, compliant and cost-effective designs are delivered in line with customer and business requirements. Managing changes in complex designs similar to those found within mining, processing and motor driven systems. Reporting to the head of operations and collaborating with all departments to leverage shared resources and expertise for innovation and efficiency.
