Freelance Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Design Manager to join a major refurbishment project on a 2-year contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-profile scheme, managing the design process to project completion.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate the design process across all project stagesLiaise with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and client teamsEnsure design information is delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standardsReview and manage design programmes and deliverablesIdentify and mitigate design risks and clashesLead design meetings and drive progress across disciplinesEnsure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirementsSupport the commercial and construction teams throughout deliveryRequirementsProven experience as a Design Manager on refurbishment or retrofit projectsStrong understanding of construction processes and design coordinationBackground working with main contractors or large-scale projectsAbility to manage multiple stakeholders effectivelyExcellent communication and leadership skillsProficiency in relevant design and project management tools (e.g., BIM, Aconex, ..... full job details .....
