Electrical Supervisor

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical works on a large scale commercial project. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Electrical Supervisor-Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day to day electrical activities on site
• Manage electricians and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and efficiency
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations, standards, and project specifications
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks
• Maintain a strong focus on health & safety, enforcing safe working practices at all times
• Liaise with project managers, site managers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation

Electrical Supervisor-Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and regulations
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification (preferred)
• ECS/CSCS card (required)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong organisational and problem solving abilities
