Design Manager

Morson Edge are working with a well known Consultancy who are seeking a Design Manager to join their Water/utilities division. Role - Design Manager Location - Rickmansworth Salary - £75k to £82k + Bens Experience needed - Either Water, Civil Engineering OR Infrastructure You will report to a Programme Design Lead working under the direction of the Regional Discipline Lead (Design Management) and your role will lead projects through their design phases for a portfolio of projects. To ensure cost-effective, technically compliant, and buildable solutions are delivered in line with all stakeholder requirements, as well as in line with programme expectations and in accordance with the project delivery process and engineering design procedures. Essential experience needed: Extensive experience of multi-disciplinary design management, in a design-build environment. Degree in an engineering-related discipline. Chartered Engineer in an engineering-related discipline. APM Project Fundamentals Qualification. Must be delivery-driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives. Working knowledge of CDM regulations and construction Health and Safety. Extensive experience in large-scale project delivery. Strategic, operational, technical and management skills.
