Deputy Head of House

OverviewRequired for October 2025 - Fixed Term Contract. Pangbourne College is seeking a dedicated Deputy Head of House to play a key role in the pastoral care and development of our boarding pupils. This is a full time residential position, with accommodation provided to ensure a strong presence within the House.

Responsibilities

Support the Head of House in creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where pupils can thrive both academically and personally.

Help oversee the day-to-day running of the House, working closely with the Assistant Head - Boarding and the pastoral team to foster a culture of respect and responsibility.

Act as a positive role model and contribute to the wider life of the College and thriving community.

Qualifications and Requirements

Strong pastoral skills and the ability to act as a positive role model.

Passion for student wellbeing and commitment to safeguarding.

Eligible to work in the UK.
