Our client is a growing and customer-focused organisation seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Customer Support Agent to join their team in Crewe.

The RoleAs a Customer Support Agent, you will act as a key point of contact for customers, providing support via telephone and email. You will be responsible for resolving enquiries, managing complaints professionally, and ensuring a high standard of customer service throughout every interaction.
The role also involves supporting customers with technical service-related enquiries, including account administration and porting requests, making it ideal for someone who enjoys combining customer service with problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and processes
- Investigate and resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively
- Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, working towards first-contact resolution where possible
- Support customers with service administration and porting-related enquiries
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and outcomes within a CRM system
- Follow up on outstanding issues to ensure customer satisfaction
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve technical or service-related queries
- Keep up to date with product knowledge, procedures, and industry developments
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous customer service or customer support experience
- An excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A positive, outgoing, and customer-focused approach
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems
- A reliable and hardworking attitude with a desire to learn and develop
