We are recruiting a

Corporate Customer Services Officer

on a fixed term contract to join our team for two years to assist in dealing with additional demand due to nationwide initiatives such as simpler recycling. The service is busy and fast paced, handling over 160,000 interactions yearly by telephone, email, digital, social media and in person, so solving problems and queries quickly and efficiently is key. You will provide excellent customer service and care to customers across various communication channels.Posts Available

1 post - permanent1 post - 2 year fixed term contract1 post - up to 1 year fixed term contract to cover maternity leaveAll Posts Are 37 Hours Per WeekWorking pattern: Monday (8:30-5pm), Tuesday (8:30-5pm), Wednesday (8:30-5pm), Thursday (8:30-5pm), Friday (8:30-4:30pm).PLEASE NOTE

that your application will be considered for all 3 posts unless you indicate otherwise on your application form.This role is currently operated on a hybrid working basis on a rota basis.What We Are Looking For

You will be a catalyst of change as the successful candidate will join us as we continue to improve the service we deliver, using various systems and technology, and enabling our customers to interact with us using various communication channels. We need someone who can quickly build rapport with customers, show patience and understanding, who can diagnose the correct course of action and relay clear and concise instructions to customers over different channels. The successful candidate will maintain composure in challenging situations, be self-motivated, confident, an excellent communicator, and able to handle a diverse range of enquiries. They should be adaptable and willing to learn new tasks as required.Previous local government experience is not necessary.
