Location: Fully remote working, Basingstoke office if hybrid working is preferred
Our client is seeking Contract IT Support Engineer to support a Microsoft-focused MSP delivering primarily BAU support and assist with cloud project work. You''ll provide day-to-day IT support while contributing to Microsoft 365 migrations and modern workplace deployments. Working in a small team, you''ll take ownership of tickets, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- 1st/2nd line support via phone and email
- Manage tickets in line with SLAs
- Support Microsoft 365 environments
- Maintain backups, monitoring, and endpoint security
- Assist with onboarding and basic infrastructure upgrades
Key Skills
- 3+ years IT support experience (MSP preferred)
- Strong Microsoft 365 admin experience
- Windows server admin
- Windows 10/11
- Knowledge of SharePoint/Intune
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls)
Desirable: Any experience in the following Azure, Hyper-V, macOS.
