Construction Teacher - Leyton, East LondonASAP Start £160 per Day Long-Term Secondary SEMH School Remedy Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Teacher to join a supportive secondary SEMH school based in Leyton, East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in Construction who enjoys working with young people and wants to use their industry experience to help students develop practical skills, confidence and qualifications. The school supports students who may have struggled in mainstream education and provides a smaller, more personalised environment where relationships, behaviour and engagement are just as important as academic progress. The Role The successful Construction Teacher will be responsible for: Delivering engaging and practical Construction lessons to secondary-aged students. Teaching vocational Construction skills and supporting students working towards relevant qualifications. Planning and adapting lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs. Providing practical, hands-on learning opportunities. Supporting students to develop their confidence, independence and employability skills. Building positive and professional relationships with students. Managing behaviour calmly and consistently. Encouraging students who may have previously struggled to engage with education.
